The best at home workouts

For quarantine and for life. Weather exercise is part or not of your life before quarantine times, I truly believe working out will help your mood, your body and mind.

These are my workout essentials to train at home

When it comes down to exercise, everyone is very particular, some prefer a sport, other people love to jog, personal training, gym etc. However, we all can agree that an external motivation will always encourage you to push harder.


I have worked out my entire life, since I was in school. I change my workout routine every now and then, because I get tired of the same and also it’s good to trick your body and always push the extra mile. Before coronavirus kicked our lives I used to train 2 days in Orange Theory, which I started doing just this year and 2 days at the gym (with the Brooke Body Body program). I was really into both and very happy with the results which at the end is what matters. Now that we are in quarantine and with so many workout options to try at home, I decided to see what is out there and give you a little summary of the best workout apps/websites for you to try depending on your personal goals. You see, I literally did the hard work for you guys, and tried all of them ;)


Here you are my friends, these are the top workout programs I personally have tried for more than a week and I can honestly recommend to try:


Obé




  • Obé

I would say this is the most fun and complete of all. It offers live and on-demand classes for all levels. The app has more than 30 different instructors who have different types of classes for cardio, strength and yoga. Each class is 28 minutes, but you can also find short 10 minute workouts. I really enjoyed doing classes with Megan R., Medelaine O. and Mary W. The dance cardio really makes it unique to this program.


The format, the instructors, the music and the classes are as fun as you can get and makes you want to workout every day. You will enjoy this burn for sure.







  • Brooke Burke Body:



I mean her body says it all. I don’t know about you, but if I am following an instructor, their body has to be their biggest proof of their work. This lady, not only has an amazing body but is also the mother of 4 kids. Talk about body inspiration...


Her app is very easy to use, she personally instructs all of the workouts and are very targeted towards the areas you want to focus the most. She also has total body workouts, for a general burn. It looks easy, but believe me her workouts are no joke and I can personally tell you, they really work. One thing I would improve, is the music, which I believe can help you pump up your workout. 100% recommend this app if you want to burn, tone and build lean muscle. I still use it after a year of signing in.








  • Tracy Anderson

Known for being the personal trainer of many celebrities, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Victoria Beckham, I always wanted to try the Tracy Anderson Method. I have to warn you she has a very raw approach, it is basically being in her own live classes and she doesn’t talk or verbally guide you during the class. This is intentionally done to make you focus on the movements. Which it is actually true. The online studio has guided classes by other trainers, if you prefer.You can tell Tracy Anderson has the experience and the knowledge. Her method does work.



  • 54D Program

This one has become a whole movement specially among the Latin American community. Lead by former professional soccer player and high performance coach, Rodrigo Garduño and his 54D program is making everyone sweat to the limit. It is an hour and a half training, specially designed to burn fat and condition your body for high performance.

It is tough but it’s is very rewarding. If your goal is to loose weight and burn fat, this is the one. I am sure that after you do the one and a half training, you will continue burning calories for a few more hours. It is free and you can find the class everyday, as it is Live on Rodrigo’s Instagram @ro54d which will be streaming for 24 hours after the Live session, which takes place every day at 11:00 am EST.



Here you have it all, for all goals and tastes. Hopefully you make any of this programs part of your life and start seeing the results. One thing I believe is missing in all of them, is a couple of more minutes of stretching. But they are all amazing options that you can use depending on your specific goals. What I recommend is to do the one you can connect the most, you can even mix them up a little bit. It is a commitment with yourself. You can do it! No more excuses!
